More and more people are choosing to “age in place,” deciding to remain in their own home versus moving to have access to services and future health care. Statistics show that currently 90% of adults over the age of 65 are choosing this path, and while it sounds very appealing, it can come with sacrifices to health, safety and social connectivity.
Working in Partnership with Status Solution, Your Neighborhood Connection will be offering a new innovative solution to meet the needs of the local community. This solution utilizes a combination of new technology along with trusted staff.
This new pilot program will be offered through Your Neighborhood Connection in the coming months. For a nominal fee Lititz area residents can easily become a virtual client of Your Neighborhood Connection through a simple click of a mouse using our web-based program “Your Virtual Connection”. During the pilot stage clients will utilize the daily check-in service. Upon completion of the program’s pilot stage, we will consider adding additional services that would include recreational trips, educational programming and more.
