Carolyn has been a client of Your Neighborhood Connection (YNC) since March, 2018. At the beginning, YNC caregivers visited weekly, however, Carolyn’s needs increased fostering additional visits. Carolyn’s services went from weekly to daily. During this time Carolyn recognized her inability to live alone and decided to move to a local Senior Retirement Community. This transition is taking place over the course of the next few weeks. Before her big move, we were able to share a meal and fellowship. We enjoyed our conversation as we basked in her sun-room listening to her express excitement and some anxiety of her upcoming move. Understanding the challenges that lie ahead, we were able to support and encourage her as she forms the next chapter of her life.
Your Neighborhood Connection visits will continue to help transition her to her new environment. We are excited to watch as she makes new friends and enjoys all the amenities of her new home.
